26 weeks 1 day

Since I just did one of these a few days ago, it'll be pretty much the same I think

How far along: 26 weeks 1 days

How big is baby: According to the Bump, (which likes to compare baby to fruits and veggies) baby boy is the size of a head of lettuce. What to Expect App says a cucumber

Total weight gain: good question...10, 15??

Sleep: on nights I take a couple tylenol PM it's great LOL, on other nights it's just ok. I can usually go a couple crappy nights and then I cave and take the Tylenol so I get a good nights sleep.

Maternity Clothes: you betcha

Food cravings : sweets like crazy! (same as before)

Food Aversions: I thought of something the other day, but I have since forgotten (surprise, surprise)

Challenges: the last couple days I've been feeling more PG and things are just harder. I get out of breath easy, heartburn has been cramping my workouts, and bending to tie my shoes isn't as easy as it use to be

Movement: I feel him throughout the day and now the night

Boy or Girl?: Baby boy

What I’m looking forward to: AJ being able to feel him, he was able to once around 20 weeks, but since then every time I tell him to come over the baby stops.

What I miss: good sleep and easy movements LOL

Next appt: Glucose test on Monday then OB appt on Thursday

Here are my 26 weeks bump pics....I know I skipped a bunch, but I don't feel like uploading and arranging them all.

25 weeks 3 days

Well, so much for doing this every week, jeesh! I haven't even remembered to take pics the last two weeks...I've gotta get on top of this so I don't regret it later!

How far along: 25 weeks 3 days

How big is baby: According to the Bump, (which likes to compare baby to fruits and veggies) baby boy is the size of a cauliflower. What to Expect App says an eggplant, which is the same thing it said last week

Total weight gain: good question...10?

Sleep: usually ok, I'm pretty restless at night trying to find a comfortable position. It's already hard to roll over and I wake up almost every time, so I'm pretty sure I'm in trouble in the 3rd tri.

Maternity Clothes: oh yeah

Food cravings : sweets like crazy!

Food Aversions: Nothing I can think if

Challenges: the exhaustion and being out of breath after doing nothing lol

Movement: I feel him a couple times a day. I can see my belly move pretty consistently, but by the time I tell the hubs to come over and see it he stops.

Boy or Girl?: BOY!!!

What I’m looking forward to: AJ being able to feel him, he was able to once around 20 weeks, but since then every time I tell him to come over the baby stops.

What I miss: good sleep

Next appt: March 14th

Random thoughts:

My BFF is having her little girl soon so I'm excited to get some baby cuddles!

I can't believe I only have about a week and a half left of 2nd tri! 1st tri took for.ev.er, but this one has absolutely flown by!

Baby clothes get my giddy :-)

My SIL is giving us a glider and my mom said she will recover it with some fabric to match the paint colors. This is saving us a couple hundred dollars and makes me feel so blessed to have such a wonderful and supportive family.

My insurance covers breast pumps as long as they're not hospital grade which is saving us another $300.

While we're not getting as much as I thought we would back from taxes we are getting something back which is helpful.

We were able to spend time getting one of our cars ready to put on Craigslist to sell so we can move forward with getting a new truck. This has been such a weight on my shoulders because time keeps slipping away faster then I can wrap my head around and this needs to be done soon. Crossing my fingers that we can get what we want/need from it and that the hubs' coworker decides to buy the truck so we can put that money towards the truck as well.

I got 3 parking tickets on Friday for parking all day in a "2 hour" parking. There is not a sign or anything on the curb that says 2 hour parking. Tomorrow I'm writing a not very nice letter telling them that I will not ay the $22 per parking ticket because nowhere does it say 2 hour parking.

The weather was gorgeous today and it makes me want to go camping, like stat LOL I hope I'm not too uncomfortable to get some spring camping in before baby gets here. I also hope I'm able to figure out the whole "camping with an infant" thing because it's really important to us that he grows up with that and I say the sooner the better. I'm proud of the fact that my first camping trip was at 10 days old. If my mom can take 4 kids, the youngest at 10 days old, surely I can take one kid the summer he's born right? I think it's just a matter of setting my mind to do it and doing it whether it's easy or not. Either way we'll make it happen because, like I said, it's very important to us he grow up enjoying the outdoors.

That's all I've got for today, hopefully I'll be back later this week for the 26 week update :-)
Oh and a picture, please excuse the fact that it's a total myspace profile pic LOL

22 weeks

I'm bad, I skipped last week...I also have a bunch of pics that need to uploaded and shared. Maybe this weekend, but we're painting our guest bathroom so maybe not.

Had an OB appt today, ute is measuring right on track and baby's HB was 147.

How far along: 22 weeks

How big is baby: According to the Bump, (which likes to compare baby to fruits and veggies) baby boy is the size of a papaya. What to Expect App says spaghetti squash, but it'll probably change it tomorrow.

Total weight gain: 5, maybe 6 lbs

Sleep: usually ok, I'm pretty restless at night trying to find a comfortable position. I sleep best from like 6-9 which I don't get to do very often because I have to get up for work.

Maternity Clothes: love 'em

Food cravings : still milk....and onion rings, had some last night at red robin, amazballs

Food Aversions: Nothing really, 'bout time too

Challenges: exhaustion, I'm tired all.the.time

Movement: definitely. He is usually active for a little while some time around mid morning, occasionally after lunch and again around 8-9pm. The evening time is when he gets really hyper

Boy or Girl?: BOY!!!

What I’m looking forward to: my 4 day weekend :-) also starting to get the baby's room ready for him

What I miss: good sleep

Next appt: March 14th

Halfway there!!! and baby's sex announcement :-)

How far along: 20 weeks 1 days

How big is baby: According to the Bump and my What to Expect App, (both like to compare baby to fruits and veggies) baby is the size of a banana at 11oz. Our little bean was already 11oz 1 week ago...what an over achiever ;)

Total weight gain: I'm packing on the pounds nowadays. I think I'm up 4 pounds

Sleep: definitely better, I still have to get up and pee at least once a night which is obnoxious

Maternity Clothes: oh yeah

Food cravings : milk

Food Aversions: Depends, nothing consistently

Challenges: feeling huge and having baby kick my bladder a lot

Movement: still not totally consistent, but I get at least a few bladder kicks a day (like right now lol)

Boy or Girl?: drum roll please........it's a BOY!!!! We sent out announcements to our parents, siblings and grandparents in the mail the day after we found out. We sent them on a Friday and the following Monday was MLK day so we had to wait like 5 days for everyone to get them. It was so hard not to spill the beans! I'm so glad we did it that way. It was a surprise for everyone to get them which made it a lot more fun then just a call or a text.

What I’m looking forward to: the hubs being able to feel him move

What I miss: not having to get up to pee

Next appt: Feb. 7th.

19 weeks 3 days

How far along: 19 weeks 3 days

How big is baby: According to the Bump, (who likes to compare baby to fruits and veggies) he/she is the size of a mango...my what to expect app (still) says a mango. Is the first time they've said the same thing.

Total weight gain: I think I've finally smarted gaining weight. I think I've gained a pound since last week.

Sleep: it's okay, some nights are better then others

Maternity Clothes: definitely. I've been meaning to go back and try on my old jeans just to see how big my belly has gotten.

Food cravings : salad....not a bad thing :-)

Food Aversions: Depends, nothing consistently

Challenges: keeping the ultrasound details under wraps :-)

Movement: yup, nothing consistently, but a few thumps here and there.

Boy or Girl?: Ultrasound details (date/time/results) are on the down low for a little while longer

What I’m looking forward to: starting to get the baby's room together

What I miss: not having to get up to pee

Next appt: Next OB appt is Feb. 7th. The anatomy scan date is hush hush at the moment. Since we're not able to tell out family in person we're going to mail out announcements to our very immediate family and once they get them we'll announce on FB so that everyone else will find out about the same time. I want it to be a surprise when the announcements show up in the mail, it will be in the next 3 weeks though ;-) so vague, I know LOL

18 weeks 2 days

So I skipped last week....I kept thinking I was going to upload bump pics and add them to the post, but I never did and next thing I knew it was the next week :-/ lame I know. But, this week I do have pics to add/

How far along: 18 weeks 2 days

How big is baby: According to the Bump, (who likes to compare baby to fruits and veggies) he/she is the size of a sweet potato...my what to expect app says a mango

Total weight gain: I had an appointment last Monday and I was down a pound, I'm going to stick w/ +/-0

Sleep: It's definitely better, but some nights still suck. It's getting more difficult to find a comfy position.

Maternity Clothes: oh yeah! Luckily I wear scrubs everyday at work so I don't need a full wardrobe, but I have had to get a few things. My sis-in-law also sent me a couple shirts, a dress, and a pair of jeans which is great!

Food cravings :  Random things at random times.

Food Aversions: Lunches have been really difficult lately. For some reason nothing ever sounds good for lunch. I end up forcing myself to eat something so I don't start feeling nauseous.

Challenges: I've been sooooo sleepy lately. I can sleep for 12 hours and still feel ready for bed at 8 the next night. I was really looking forward to that 2nd trimester energy boost people always tell you about, but so far it's remaining elusive.

Movement: I don't really know. Sometimes I think I feel something, but I really have no idea. At my appt last Monday I could hear the baby moving all over the place when my OB was using the doppler.

Boy or Girl?: Don't know yet, but soon :-)

What I’m looking forward to: finding out if munchkin is a boy or a girl!

What I miss: feeling 100%. I'm always tired or nauseous or something

Without further ado, here are the promised bump pics. (I have to find a different spot in our house to take these. We always do them at night b/c I get home after dark so there's no natural light and the house lights make the color so weird, not to mention weird shadows.)

Looking at these again I almost look bigger at 17 weeks, either way the Pink Floyd shirt is getting tighter all the time :-)

16 week update

I hope everyone who celebrates it had a great Christmas! I know ours was wonderful and jam packed! It's crazy to think next year we'll have a 6 month old....can't really wrap my head around that LOL

How far along: 16 weeks 1 day!

How big is baby: According to the Bump, (who likes to compare baby to fruits and veggies) he/she is the size of an avocado...my what to expect app says a turnip

Total weight gain: Still nothing, but I can officially no longer button my jeans

Sleep: Still crappy, the last couple nights have been especially awful b/c I can't get comfy, I have a cold so my nose is plugged up and my stomach is usually upset.

Maternity Clothes: last week I thought it'd be a awhile until I needed them, but as of today I can barley zip my pants enough to use the Bella band so I think shopping is on the to do list this weekend

Food cravings : Nada

Food Aversions: Pretty much everything, except oranges and cauliflower w/ ranch

Challenges: Coming to terms with the fact that the all day morning sickness isn't going anywhere and there's a decent chance I'll be dealing with it until June

Movement: I don't think so, I thought I may have felt the munchkin a couple days ago, but I'm not sure

Boy or Girl?: Hopefully we should be able to find out in a few weeks

What I’m looking forward to: finding out if munchkin is a boy or a girl!

What I miss: not feeling nauseous (this is going to be an ongoing one)

Next appt: Jan 7th (hopefully our ultrasound won't be too long after that)

I have bump pics I really need to upload...maybe this weekend....maybe

15 weeks 1 day

How far along: 15 weeks 1 day!

How big is baby: According to the Bump, (who likes to compare baby to fruits and veggies) he/she is the size of an orange...my what to expect app says an avocado

Total weight gain: Still nothing, but I did gain back the 4lbs I lost

Sleep: For every 1 great nights sleep I get about 5 crappy nights, not exactly a fair trade if you ask me, especially during the work week

Maternity Clothes: nope. I thought I would need them in a couple weeks, but I think I may be able to just wear my jeans lower and under my belly.

Food cravings : I realized that when everything has made my stomach turn, pizza has always sounded good. I don't really crave it, but it's the one food that I feel like I could always eat.

Food Aversions: When I'm hungry nothing ever sounds good (except the aforementioned pizza) so it's really tough to decide what to eat and the longer it takes to decide the more nauseous and "gaggy" I get....talk about vicious cycle

Challenges: Sleeping, and the return of morning sickness earlier this week :-/

Movement: no, but that doesn't mean I don't poke my belly to try and get the baby to move so I can feel it LOL

Boy or Girl?: Won't know until next month! I keep having dreams it's a girl, the hubs doesn't like to hear that...I think he's scared to have a girl ;) (same as last week)

What I’m looking forward to: energy and not feeling nauseous (same as last week)

What I miss: foods sounding good, not being nauseous, enjoying sleep like I used to

Next appt: Jan 7th (hopefully our ultrasound won't be too long after that)

14 weeks and some pics :)

How far along: 14 weeks....hello 2nd tri!

How big is baby: According to the Bump, (who likes to compare baby to fruits and veggies) he/she is the size of a lemon....my what to expect app says an orange

Total weight gain: Nada...my waist seems to be getting thicker, but I haven't started adding pounds yet.

Sleep: Last night I slept like a log...but I took a benadyl which my OB suggested since I'm having a lot of trouble sleeping.

Maternity Clothes: not yet, I'm thinking in the next week or two I'll have to cave and get some jeans

Food cravings : none...am I the only PG lady who doesn't crave anything?

Food Aversions: In the mornings, everything

Challenges: I've had such a hard time getting into Christmas this year! Usually I'm busting out the decorations immediately after Thanksgiving, but I had to force myself to get them up this week b/c I've still been sooooo tired.

Movement: I know it's super early, but when I'm laying in bed I keep trying to feel something LOL

Boy or Girl?: Won't know until next month! I keep having dreams it's a girl, the hubs doesn't like to hear that...I think he's scared to have a girl ;)

What I’m looking forward to: energy and not feeling nauseous

What I miss: this is the same as last week: good sleep & not feeling nauseous. I honestly can't remember what it's like to not feel like crap for at least part of the day

Next appt: Jan 7th

Here are some blump (bloat/bump) pics from week 10-13 :) (I haven't edited these yet so they're kinda dark) I thought I was going to do something cute with the pics, like have the fruit the size of the baby or have a little chalkboard w/ the week and baby's size, but along with a lot of other stuff exhaustion got in the way.....

(I don't know how to fix the format so sorry if it's confusing what pic is what)

                                                                           10 weeks

                                                                          11 weeks
(why yes, those are Jack Daniel's PJ pants. I stole them from the hubs LOL)

                                                                           12 weeks

Bo Bo wouldn't leave me alone so he got his picture taken too
